Red Ribbon Week is a nationally recognized event that always occurs during the last week of October. This year, it will take place next week, October 24th through October 28th. It was established to honor the life of Kiki Camarena who lost his life at the hands of the drug cartel he was investigating as an undercover DEA agent. RRW is a way to encourage kids to pledge a drug free life, as he did. Here at the middle school, we also use this time to speak to students about bullying.
The CMMS Art students created Red Ribbon Week messages of awareness and support!
