An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning. These books were history in our hands, some of them from our very own Hubbard Trail Junior High School and Deer Creek Junior High School. We gave new life to the retired books, and the students embraced the discovery of creating new artwork with something old.
