Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) Hosts Informative Event for ELL Families
On March 15, 2024, the Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) hosted an informative and fun event for families of students who receive ELL services. This event was well-attended with 28 families and 12 community partners participating. Community partners provided information, resources, and freebies to parents about the services they provide. At the BPAC table, parents were given free parenting books, children’s books, educational flashcards, and details about any upcoming BPAC gatherings. As parents met with our community partners, CM 201-U ELL teachers coordinated entertaining crafts and games for the children to enjoy.
